Yes, Match Prophets is free: creating an account, setting up leagues, inviting your group, and predicting every match costs nothing, with no limit on participants or matchdays. We don't handle real money or cash prizes, just points and standings within your group.
No limit. A league on Match Prophets can have anywhere from 2 to hundreds of members — it works just as well for a group of five friends as for an entire office or a large family, all competing in the same standings.
By default, 3 points if you nail the exact score, 2 points if you only get the winner or draw right without the exact score, and 0 points if you miss both. The standings recalculate automatically as soon as each match ends.
No. Match Prophets works as a PWA (Progressive Web App): you use it straight from your browser and can add it to your phone's home screen to open it like a native app, without going through the App Store or Google Play.
Yes. You can belong to as many leagues as you want at the same time — one with your football friends, another with the family for the NBA, another with the office — and they all show up together on your "My leagues" dashboard.
Football and the NBA. In football we cover 9 competitions (Champions League, LaLiga, Premier League, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, Primeira Liga, Eredivisie, and Brasileirão); in basketball, the NBA. You can combine several competitions within the same league.
From your league's page you generate a unique invite link and share it wherever you like, usually WhatsApp. Whoever opens it signs up (or logs in if they already have an account) and joins the league automatically, with no code to enter by hand.
Yes. Besides your private league's table, every user has their own global ranking and country ranking for each competition, so you can compare your accuracy with every Match Prophets user, not just your group.
Yes, as long as the match hasn't started. As soon as the game kicks off, the prediction locks automatically for everyone, so nobody can adjust it mid-match while watching how the result is going.
Not before the match starts, so nobody can copy. As soon as it kicks off, every league member's locked-in predictions for that specific match are revealed.
If a match is called off before it's played, that prediction doesn't score for anyone. If it gets rescheduled, the prediction locks at the new kickoff time, not the original one.
No, you choose. When creating a league you can mark it as private (only joinable with the invite link) or public (visible and open to any user who wants to join).
No. Match Prophets isn't a betting operator: it doesn't handle real money or hand out cash prizes. It's played purely for points and standings within your group, with no financial transactions of any kind.
Match Prophets is available in 6 languages: Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and German. You can switch languages at any time from the language selector in the menu.
With email and password, or directly with your Google account in one click. If you join through an invite link, signing up automatically adds you to that league as soon as you complete the process.
